Vascular and Interventional Associates is a group of physicians who specialize in minimally invasive, non-surgical treatments of disease. We are a group of Interventional Radiologists who use sophisticated medical imaging to guide small caliber catheters through the blood vessels or other pathways of the body to treat disease percutaneously (through the skin). These procedures are typically much less invasive than traditional surgery.

Most procedures are performed on an outpatient basis or require only a brief hospital stay. General anesthesia is not required for most procedures. Recovery times are usually measured in days unlike major surgical procedures which require weeks before returning to normal activity.
